I turend 26 yesterday...

That number sounds old.

I had a divine day. Pedicure, fun in the sun, dinner, movie and lots of wonderful birthday wishes from family and friends.

Rigby Lake

Today some friends and I took our kids to Rigby Lake. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun! We had coolers full of food, lots of sand toys and a wonderful canopy for shade.

I know you are supposed to limit your tuna consumption while pregnant, but this is one thing that is hard to say no to...

Tuna-White Bean Salad
2 Cans of Tuna drained (I use canadian tuna, sorry U.S.A it is WAY better)
1 can (15 oz.) white beans rinsed and drained
2 Tbsp capers
2 diced tomatoes
2 cloves of fresh minced garlic
2-3 Tbsp olive oil
2-3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup chopped cilantro
salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients and spread on toast or eat plain.

banff

No visit to Calgary would be complete without a trip to Banff . We did our usual things... shopped, ate dinner, walked to the falls and Banff Springs Hotel, went to the candy and fudge store, and enjoyed the mountains!

Sadie and David were so glad to see Mike when he flew up to Calgary on Thursday.

We returned home on Sunday, the 10 hour drive seemed extra long due to all of Sadie and David's bathroom breaks. We returned to a spotless, cleaned and painted house thanks to Mike's mom and aunt and their helping crew. Thank You, the house looks great!

A good dog!

One of David and Sadie's favorite things in Calgary is Bo the dog. He is getting old, but is the best dog in the world. (Besides the shedding) He loves it when the kids come to visit.

Today we took the kids to Kensington to get some crave cupcakes on the C-train. David loves riding the train!

We have been enjoying lots of family time, picnics and BBQs. I have seen quite a few of my old friends as well! It has been quite cool here and rainy. Sadie and David are loving the bigger house to play in and all the attention they are receiving. 

Happy Birthday Sadie

Sadie Lady turned 2 on Sunday! We were driving on that day so we celebrated her birthday on Friday.  She got lots of dress up clothes, baby dolls and furniture and girly toys. Happy Birthday Sadie!!!! 


Her favorite gift were her high heeled shoes. She wanted to wear them everywhere for the next few days! Sadie is such a sweet heart. She LOVES taking good care of her babies, and I know she will be such a good helper when the new baby arrives! We are so lucky to have Sadie in our family! 

4th of july

This 4th of July we started out the day by riding our bikes to the rexburg parade. It was a decent parade i suppose..Later that day we headed to Idaho Falls to watch the fireworks. My mom and dad and sister were here in town, it was their first 4th of july experience.

David certainly did not enjoy the loud banging of the fire works.

Mike and I started dating on the 4th of July, 7 years ago! I can't believe how fast time flies.

SUMMER TIME

Yesterday my mom and dad and sister came to visit, we took the boat out for the first time this summer.
