memorial weekend events

This memorial weekend we did quite a bit even though the weather was rainy for most of it. On Friday night we went up to the cabin with some friends and pretty much had a rock band marathon. On Sunday, Mike's cousin had his mission farewell and after we had a Delish breakfast at the walkers house, the weather was beautiful. And today more rain, we were going to take the kids to the zoo, but instead we made a trip to I.F and went to the mall and out for dinner. The kids were angels while we ate, I was VERY pleasantly surprised! Sadie is walking everywhere now, she is getting so good. She also has her first tooth, if you look closely in the picture of her and David you can see her little fang tooth on the top. So funny.

Summer has begun

Well, today I feel as though summer has officially begun, the neighbors got together and broke out the slip n slide and ate watermelon! David and Sadie have both been under the weather the past few days, but I couldn't keep them away from the outdoor activites! They played so hard, they both came home and crashed before we could even have lunch.

This past week Sadie has been getting a new tooth. I think more are coming because of the way she has been acting (clingy, feverish, and won't eat anything). But we can get her to eat frozen Blueberries, they are the one thing she will never refuse!

After a fun day of walking, biking and playing at the park, we (meaning Mike and I) are exhausted! The weather was great and it was so nice to spend the day outdoors! Mike is bathing the kids now, and sending them to bed. After that we will be watching 27 dresses, a movie I have been wanting to see! Hopefully Mike will stay awake for it...

New Nephew!

Our handsome little nephew Braxton arrived this evening after a long day for his mom Lyndsie. I don't remember exact details, (Brandon I am sure will be posting more pictures soon, these are especially for our family out of town) but he sure is cute! Congrats Brandon and Lyndz, he is so sweet! We went to the hospital to go and visit and David brought Braxton a little present, in the car on the way home he said "Dad, I like Braxton, he is nice" we are glad to hear it, because I am sure they will grow up to be good friends!
