Wedding Extravaganza

Mike's sister Shalie got married right after Christmas on Dec. 27. Shalie and Sean looked so great and the entire day was so much fun.  We all got new duds, the boys wore tuxes and the girls all had matching dresses. The babes looked especially adorable...

The day started off with pictures first, which was very smart becuase everyone was clean, dresses were all still in tact and hair was all done!

After the temple ceremony we had a kid-free luncheon! It was so nice to eat without spills or interuptions!!!



We sat at this fun table, 4 out of Mike's 6 siblings with their spouses!

 

 

After the luncheon was over, the reception started, which consisted of lots of yummy treats, lots of dancing,  and too much fun!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning began at a very reasonable and much appreciated hour... 7:30 am.  The babes all slept upstairs together and we awoke to shrieks of delight as they saw that Santa had come. It is so much fun to have young kids that love the magic and excitement of Christmas morning.

Christmas morning was over way too soon and we got ready and headed over to Mike's parents house for a delish breakfast. (creme brule french toast is amazing)

The day was spent opening more gifts, playing with all the loot, napping, watching movies, games, eating, gun shooting for the boys, more eating and lots of christmas fun!

We had an amazing Christmas, I wish I  snapped more pictures!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was full of anticipation. Mike and David went and did some last minute shopping and the girls and I did some last minute wrapping. It was snowing and beautiful outside, perfect Christmas weather. We went sledding and then headed over to Mike's parents house for a christmas Party! We had good food and lots of fun!

We headed home and wrote our letter to Santa, and sent the kids to bed, hoping they wouldn't wake up at 4:30 like last year.

The babes got all dressed up in their Christmas Best for church. The little girls LOVE wearing anything pretty, sparkly, pouffy, and shiny. So these dresses really were a hit!

Mike and I tried our best to dress in something that matched.
