A sad day

It was a sad day here in the burg this past friday... My sister and her hubby Will moved away...I have loved having my best friend here close to me for the past 3 years....They are off to Denver to start a new adventure there. I am excited to go visit them there!

Lil Leapster is sure growing! Those big blue eyes of hers just melt me! She is such a good girl and is so sweet

We took a little trip to Green Canyon with Hill and Will before they left. It is always a fun experience to go there. Although the babes were sad because they took out the diving board.

David and his friend Jett have started Karate! It is SO cute to watch them. David LOVES it, he goes 2 times a week

Little Calista is so funny, she is the most interesting little person. She is so accident prone, I think it comes from trying to keep up with David and Sadie. She sure doesn't let anyone push her around.

Blessing Baby Leah

Baby Leah was blessed on Sunday. We were up bright and early for our 9 am church on New Years Day! Leah wore the same blessing dress that I wore, and the same dress that both Sadie and Calista have worn!

Little Leapster (her nickname the kids have given her) was such an angel on her big day. She didn't make a peep and didn't spit up or blow out all over her pretty white dress!!!

After Church we had a lunch at our house of sandwhiches, chips, salads and treats. We had alot of our family still in town because of the holidays and it was so nice to have so much support and love from everyone! Thank you to all of those that could come!!


People mostly tell me that Leah looks like a little mini Mike... I think she looks alot like Cali and a little like David. She is for sure going to have pretty blue eyes!

christmas time has come

Christmas eve was a busy day, it started out with Cooper family pictures at 9 am. The rest of the day was filled with cleaning, cooking and anticipation!
My family all arrived at dinnertime. Mike was very happy after receiving his gift from my parents...a huge box of grapefruits freshly picked in Palm Desert the day before!

Leah was so delightful and loved seeing all the new faces!

Christmas morning began VERY early, at 4:58 am to be exact! Dave was the early riser and woke up his sisters. We were very tired!

Calista loved her new bike from Santa! She was so excited about all of her presents!

My entire family was there to celebrate the holidays. We had a great day and the festivities still continue a week later!
