Happy Halloween

David the Robot...

Sadie the kitty...

Mike, the Vampire...

Meg the witch...

Last night we had a neighborhood party. It was so much fun! We had soup, rolls and salad, homemade root beer and cupcakes. (I made a butternut squash soup that was pretty good). There were some great costumes...a skeleton, sumo wrestler, raggidy ann, rockers, peter pan, tinkerbell, captin hook and tiger lily, Juno characters, m&m's, transformer, sailor, bat, ladybug and many more!

David loved his robot costume, it was so much fun to make!

Tonight we plan on trick or treating a little bit around the neighborhood and then we are going to go to Mike's grandma's house for her annual halloween gathering! I love halloween, it is so much fun.

Michelle the carrot... I love this costume!

A spooky pumpkin

Today we decided to carve some pumpkins. We headed to Broulims to do their little 'pumpkin walk' and we picked out our pumpkins. David selected a cute little baby pumpkin.

Carving our pumpkins with Aubri, Lexi and Michelle.
Our very basic finished pumpkins!
David has decided that he wants to be a robot for halloween and Sadie is going to be a black kitty cat. We have been enjoying the beautiful fall weather, the past few days have been very nice. I am loving the fall candles, the changing leaves, wearing my fall sweaters and getting ready for halloween!

Utah

These past few days we have been in Utah. I love Utah, we spent some time in Salt Lake and Provo where we dropped bird off at the MTC. We had lots of fun, swimming in Little America's pool, eating out, and shopping!!! Here are David and Sadie at 'Anthropology' a store at Gateway, I had to get pretty creative to entertain them while we shopped.

The MTC.. what a wonderful yet sad place!
I wish I could say this picture was taken while we were driving, but no.... My kids HATE the car, they rarely sleep, they cry and want out of their carseats the whole way... I am taking the kids to Palm Desert in a few weeks, and I am nervous about the 12 hour drive... Luckily my dad will be with me.
Oh... P.S,

We have had some fish casualties... When we returned from Utah we came home to 4 dead fish, all of our new ones that we ordered online are gone... luckily saltwaterfish.com has a wonderful 15 day guarantee.. The only catch is that you either have to send the dead fish back... (gross) or take a picture of the deceased fish and send that... Mike didn't know this policy and flushed one, but the others I photographed before flushing!!!

family pix

This past Sunday my friend took some family pictures for us at the Garden's on Campus. It is so hard to get good pictures with little kids, but I think they turned out great!

This past week we haven't really done much besides enjoying the georgeous weather outside. Tonight a friend and I had a Scentsy party, I hadn't heard much about Scentsy, but after tonight I am a HUGE fan. If you don't know what it is.... it's a decorative burner that uses a light bulb instead of a candle and you put one of these soy wax bars ontop and they melt and make your house smell SOOO good. They have a ton of different smells. If anyone wants to order anything, let me know by Monday night!
