Rider David

Riders... David, Dad and Grandpa Cooper
David and Sadie watching Dad come in from a big snowmachine ride!

David is becoming such a big boy, he loves Sadie and is usually pretty good to her. Sadie is at that very squirmy stage, always wanting to be on the go. We are all excited to get to some warm weather. We are ready for spring, we can't wait until our big plane ride

David's Dory

David has a new pet, (thanks to Grandma Cooper, Shalie and Michelle) The beta's name is Dory and in the few hours that we have had it, the fish bowl comes everywhere with us. Dory has to come upstairs to have a bath with David, Dory has to sit at the table while David eats, and Dory has to sit next to David on the floor while he watches Backyardigans... we'll see how long we can keep Dory alive...

We had an eventful weekend, on Saturday my sis-in law Lyndsie had her baby shower, it was alot of fun, she got a ton of great stuff... her baby boy is due the end of April. Also Mike's sister Aubri and her hubby Josh came to visit so we got to spend some time with them which is always fun!

It is warming up alittle big, the piles of snow are slowly melting. I can't wait until we leave for warm and sunny Palm Springs!!! Only 10 more days.

some great discoveries

1. First discovery is DIBS, these tasty bite sized ice cream squares are delish. They are the perfect size, I will use them as an eating incentive for David, it is so easy to just give him 2 or 3 dibs, and he is a happy guy!
2. My second discovery is Grey's anatomy. Mike got me season one for valentines day, and I have become an addict. I have also made Mike an addict. We just finished season 2 last night, it is SOOOO goood!
3. Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara. This stuff is amazing, It creates big huge lashes that I love! It definatly takes a couple coats, but is well worth the $5.50 at the store.

4. Emealz. I have the hardest time planning meals, grocery shopping within a budget and making exciting new dishes. For $1.25 a week at www.e-mealz.com you will get a weekly menu, directions and even a shopping list. They have tons of different options, 2 person meals , large family meals, low-fat meals, low-carb meals, point meals.... They come up with some new dishes that I never would think to make, the best part is that I don't have to figure out what to make each night, I have it all planned out, and I have the exact groceries that I need! check it out, they have sample weekly meals to look at.

the cupcake cafe

Red Velvet, chocolate peanut butter and Better than sex cupcakes
David, waiting to indulge...
Sadie wishing she could indulge...
So it is always a very exciting day when a new business comes to Rexburg... Today while we were out running some errands, we came across "The cocoa bean-cupcake cafe" I made Mike pull over and David and I ran inside. For $2.75 you can buy a yummy cupcake,... they are pretty tasty, a ton of icing though. I don't know if they are quite as good as "crave cupcakes" in Calgary. I had to laugh when I saw the store because for the past few years everytime my mom comes to visit she tells me that we should open up a cupcake store. She had it all planned out, even the name.. sorry mom, your great idea has already been done... Maybe Kernels?
