Well it's that time of year again... our annual Palm Desert Trip has come and gone. We drove this year and the kids did great in the car. My Mom and Dad were here to travel with and we left on Friday after David's school and made it to SLC.
Once we got to SLC we went to Whole Foods for dinner (best stirfry and salad bar ever), Then we headed over to the new CITY CREEK SHOPPING CENTER. It is amazing. Such good stores, but there were SOOO many people. It was conference weekend so there were huge crowds.
After our night at City Creek we headed to Aubri and Josh's house to sleep! We had a fun day with them at this waterpark that the kids LOVED and then Aubri volunteered to babysit so Mike and I could go out for dinner with my parents, and then the boys went to priesthood and my mom and I shopped, so Thanks Aub, and check out the cool centerpiece she did for a party below!
We got back on the road Sunday Morning and arrived in Palm Desert late that night after a LONG day in the car..... But once we arrived we were in paradise!

Although our time was short (in comparison to last year I mean....) we did ALOT. Trips to the turtle park, BBQing, swimming in the pool, hikes, fish and chips, shopping, Hunger Games movie, bike riding, sidewalk chalk, tennis, and much more. It was so great to see my sissy and her hubs William. We miss them!

On Good Friday we hiked up to this big cross on the mountain. It was pretty neat.
It was 90 degrees of fun in the sun. We all had a great time, and LOVE going to the desert. My Mom and Dad took such good care of us as always, taking care of the cleaning, cooking, groceries, and entertaining the kids, I am sure it was not much of a relaxing vacation for them while we were there, but it was for me.... SO thank you mom and dad for everything, we are looking forward to next year already!
