lack of title...

Is summer really coming to an end??? It seems as though we have missed summer, it has flown by. David started his first day of Pre-school yesterday. I am debating if I should put Sadie into the same preschool for the younger age. His teached says she will have David reading this year! And if I put Sadie in she will be learning all the letter's and their sounds and phonics.... Or I can put her into the BYU-Idaho preschool for the fall semester... I don't know what to do.

Mike turned 31 last week! He spent his birthday driving up to get us in Calgary. We made sure he had a special dinner and cake waiting for him. How did I get so lucky to have such an amazing guy???

This past week some of Mike's siblings were in town, the whole family was almost there, we missed Josh and Aub and their family... It was great to see everyone and hang out!

While in Calgary, of course we made our trip to Banff as we always do. We were missing Carl in this picture, but it was a beautiful day and we had the best time there.

And I returned home to see my new house painted, with all the brick done, doors in, tile down and the cabinets are being put in and are almost done, they still have to put some crown on and other little touches. Sadie's room is a very girly PINK and David's room is a great bluey grey color. We bought appliances, and are searching for the right lights and counter tops. The tile still needs to be grouted and sealed and we are having a tough time picking the perfect stucco color. So much to do, but I am loving every second.

SHE WALKS!

It's official, my little adorable Calista is a walker! She is the cutest thing in the world, and is SO proud when she walks! Mike comes up today, and we are so excited to have Cali walk to him!

We have been having such a great time in Calgary. I have seen a few of my good friends and their kids, we have visited lots of family, eaten way too much good food, celebrated a few birthdays, zoo, picnics, lake chaparrel, and a little shopping!

Mike has been working hard on the house, and we are hoping to move in middle of SEPTEMBER! I cannot wait. He sends me pictures of progress, I can't believe how happy a front door makes me! They are painting now, and have laid lots of tile! I can't wait to see it.

Hill and I got dressed in the same outfit one day, I had to take a picture!

THE ZOO!

Yesterday mom and I took the babes to the zoo. We spent the entire afternoon there. We had so much fun

Calista was such a trooper, although she wanted to walk like one of the big kids most of the time. She loved all the animals.

The calgary zoo is pretty cool, it is way better than I remember as a kid.

The babes loved the dinosaur park, the dino's moved and growled when we would walk by

Monkey's are always a favorite.

David was most excited to see the elephants.

We visited the hippos right at dinner time, the keeper rang a bell, and the hippos got out of the water and started walking over for their food. The keeper threw their meal right infront of us, so we had a perfect seat to watch them eat. They were 6 feet away from us, they are huge. Sadie informed me that one was "Gloria" and the other was "Moto Moto".
