cement is exciting!!!!

Ok, I am positive most people are going to be sick of seeing pictures of the house progress month after month, but I am so excited I can't resist. This is a picture of the footings being poured on Monday.

Today the cement basement walls were formed up and poured!!!!!!! Next step is the plumber has to come and do his work, then basement floor to be poured and then framing (I think that is the order)

Cute Cali, sitting up like such a big girl, she is going through a MAJOR mamma's girl stage, but I really don't mind, I mean she is so adorable I love packing her around all day.

Sadie found this "hair" the other day, and was so proud of her long locks... I only wish Sadie's hair was that long and thick.

The weather is starting to warm up a little. We went to the park yesterday, but it was still pretty chilly. I can't wait until I am in that HOT palm desert SUN!!!

Our house project has begun!!! Mike dug the basement this weekend!

The kids have been so excited and they have had so much fun helping Mike run the excavator and playing in the dirt. I don't know who is more excited, me or the kids!!!!!!!

I made bread!

On Monday I made bread! This was my first attempt of making it by myself.

Mike's sister makes great bread and she was my coach!

Making bread in the bosch is very easy, the bosch does all the work for you! First I ground the whole wheat into flour, put all the ingredients into the bosch and let it mix for 10 mins! How easy is that???

Mike was impressed with my domestic abilities!

Sadie and Cali were my special helpers!
