After Christmas the babes and I hitched a ride up to Calgary with my mom and dad. I was able to spend 2 weeks up there, and had a lovely time. It was great to see lots of family and some friends. We left poor Mike home alone to fend for himself, and he came to pick us up. The kids are getting pretty good at that drive.
Right outside of my parents house is a big gully, with a perfect sledding hill. We went sledding alot.
Of course we went to Banff, and we went to the hot springs there. After swimming we took Mike to get his favorite burger at St. James Pub.
Since we have been home we have been skiing a few times, Targhee has a great deal on Friday. If you become a facebook friend, ticket prices drop. Last week lift tickets were $35... and hopefully this friday they will be even less.
Sadie is a natural skiier, she did the kiddy hill about 10 times, and then spent the rest of the day on the chair lift on her very first day. She is a great stopper and turner!
Dave is getting so good as well!!!!
Little Cali was a doll, and spent some time outside with us on the kiddy hill, and then went and we watched from inside the lodge.
Mike has been working hard building some trucks, and the kids and I have been very busy with preschool, play dates and projects. I don't know how the days go by so fast...On Monday night we had a lesson about being responsible, and "sticking to tasks" so we played a game where we all had pieces of tape on our noses and we had to touch noses to try to steal other's tape.... the kids LOVED it, and we have played this game everyday now.
Cali is asleep, David and Sadie both have friends over and are all playing together and I am loving the chance to sit down and relax.
