arctic rexburg

Sadie is at that age where she needs to be moving at all times. If I am holding her on the couch she is jumping on my legs, if we are walking around I am bouncing her in my arms, and if she is on the floor she is rolling.
David outside on a little walk to get out of the house,
Well, it has been freezing cold here for the past few weeks.
There is so much snow everywhere. Mike hasn't been able to get up to work a couple of days because they close the roads. I think we are all going a little crazy in our house. Mike's mom and dad leave on their cruise tomorrow. We are jeolous.

A new post

Sadie is sitting up pretty well by herself. She is eating rice cereal and is getting a bit more plump (although plump for her looks about normal) She is getting close to crawling, maybe another few weeks. She is a very good roller though, she'll be across the room in a few seconds.
David loves holding Sadie ( Sadie likes it too from the look on her face...) They are too cute together. I will put her in her jolly jumper in the toyroom door frame and David will play in there and they will just laugh and have fun for a good hour, making it possible for me to make dinner. Rexburg has been freezing the past week. It is snowing right now. It is hard to keep everyone healthy in this yucky weather. We had our little playgroup today at the clubhouse. It is just nice to get out of the house, let the kids run and talk to another adult!

Temple open house

Tonight we had the chance to go to the Rexburg Temple open house. We took David and Sadie and they were very good, (besides David singing the spiderman song during the video).
It was georgeous, the whole tour was great. They have had over
100 000 people go through in the 3 weeks that it has been open. I can't wait for it to be dedicated so we can go. It was fun to take David because everytime we drive up that road on the hill he always points out the temple, and now he knows what is inside. It was so pretty looking at the temple with the light snow falling and the huge snowdrifts everywhere.

little angels

Mike's cousin Casey took these adorable pictures for me before Christmas. We got them framed for both parents for Christmas... along with some other grandchild memorabilia. I think they both look like little glowing angels.

Model David

I loved the sequence of these pictures... what a photogenic little guy I have...

We are back in the Burg.. We left Calgary on Saturday morning and split the trip into 2 very enjoyable days. We were lucky enough to stay in Calgary for 2 weeks, Mike usually has to go home early but this time we could stay. We had alot of fun. Went to good Resturants, hung out with the fam, saw some movies, hung out with friends, shopped, hockey games and me not having to cook. It is good to be home though, alot of unpacking to do and to try and find places to put all of David's new toys...

I too have become addicted to "Twilight" and "New Moon" and I just started "Eclipse" they are such good books.. It was easy to breeze through them in Calgary where others could watch the kids.

Mike got me a new camera for christmas, I haven't really played with it yet, but I need to take some pictures and put them on, I am excited to see if I can see a big difference between my old camera and this one..

Well I better get back to dinner.
