Calista turns 1

Happy Birthday little miss Calista

We are pretty much BAD parents, I put the cupcake with the burning candle infront of Cali and said to Mike "you watch her so she doesn't get burned, while I snap a quick picture" ..... Cali was so fast, she reached out to the flame and burned her finger....this explains the unhappy picture, poor little thing. :(

And her she is not sure if it is safe to touch her cupcake yet....

David and Sadie each got to pick our something for Cali at the store, and were WAY more excited and involved than Cali was while opening presents.

I love this little girl SO much, she is so good and happy.

Cali LOVED her new baby and stroller that Sadie picked for her.

And the meowing kitty that David picked was also a favorite.

I still remember her birth day so well, Cali is such a wonderful addition to our family and we LOVE her SO much!

random rambles

Life lately has been pretty boring and slow for us. I have had one of the kids sick since Friday, first it was Sadie Lady, and now David and Cali. The doctor said it was an aggressive virus of some sort. We have been stuck inside watching movies, cleaning and coloring. Yesterday I walked into the kids room, and I had to laugh at what I saw, someone had hung all the barbie's by their chins on the doll house.

The banister of our house now has railings!!!! YEA now I won't be terrified one of my kids will fall to their death on the tile floor.

The tile work is all done....

AND CARPET ARRIVED ON SATURDAY!!!!! It really feels like a finished house now. Mike is building the deck. And last minute stuff is being done.

And today is a special day for CALISTA!!!!! My baby is one today! She is really showing us her fun personality lately.

She LOVES being near David and Sadie and is always trying to be apart of whatever they are doing. If David and Sadie come running upstairs, Cali is always a few minutes behind them, trying to catch up. She is such a DOLL! I can't believe how fast this year has gone. I will post some more tonight of Cali at her little celebration. Sadie and I are baking the cupcakes right now while David lays asleep on the couch, poor guy.

The countdown is on

We have been pretty busy these last few days. Mike and his dad and a few others hiked up the grand teton last week! They had a great guys climb, it almost made me wish I was going up to the top with them...

Mike and I have had the hardest time deciding on a stucco color. We had to make sure it looked good with the brick, and the roof. We would find the perfect color, and then it would look different on house, it was a nightmare. Here is the final color!

David and Sadie have had so much fun playing on the equipment, and rocks. They have been good little helpers.

Cute Calista, she can't wait for some soft carpet to crawl on.

Babes on the balcony

Tile needs to be grouted and sealed, carpet, backsplash, sidewalk and then we are there. I have a feeling I am going to be cleaning for months and months, it is SO dusty up there.

We are really hoping to have our house wrapped up in the next 2 weeks! I CAN'T WAIT!!
