28 years and 28 weeks

Today was a big day, I turned 28. I am visiting my family in Calgary and we celebrated in style. Mike is home working... (wish he were here! We will see him in a week though!!!) This morning we went to Costco, a store I greatly miss. This afternoon we relaxed, washed cars, played lego etc... and this evening my mom and dad watched the babes and sent Hill, Bird, Carl and I to dinner at an amazing little Italian Place called Niko's. It was very good. After we celebrated with some Crave cupcakes... it was a lovely day.
I am also 28 weeks along in this pregnancy, I am feeling good and am glad time seems to be flying by!
My only complaints are these lovely things.... my thigh high compression stockings that I really enjoy wearing in the heat of summer.... UGHHHH. With this baby, a not so lovely surprise has surfaced, a gross, UGLY, painful vein on the back of my right leg... It is amazing how fast this thing came. In April while I was in California, no vein at all, and now 3 months later it is REALLY there.

My doc said to get these compression stockings, and to wear them on the other leg as well for precautionary measures. My legs do feel alot better while wearing them and every chance I get I sit down to put my feet up. I have diligently searched out the appropriate medical procedure to get rid of these 80 year old looking veins on my legs, but the docs say wait until you are done having kids. Hopefully the vericose will calm down after birth. Oh well, I could be much worse off... I guess I am just vain... haha.

A day at the "beach"

On Monday some of my 'mom friends' (as Hill likes to call them) ventured out to the "beach" AKA Egin Lake. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed hours of fun in the sun chatting while the kids played in the water and sand.

More tadpoles were caught, sand castles were built, junk food was consumed and sunscreen was applied, (though not enough... my babes got a little pink)
Dave and his buddies were in heaven digging and swimming.

These 3 cute little girls are all about the same age and live right by each other. Can't wait to see them in 5 years... SO CUTE!!!!

Cali stuck to the shore for the most part and just wanted to eat.

I love this cute little bum pic!

Sadie's 4!

Sadie Turned 4 on July 5th. It seemed as though her birthday celebration lasted all week long. We celebrated with the family on Monday, her actual birthday was Tuesday and her party with her little friends was Wednesday.
Sadie is so helpful, thoughtful and sweet. She is very sensitive and takes such good care of everyone. She is daring and can do anything her big brother can do.

Sadie has been wanting a new bike for awhile. She was SO excited to get her cute new bike and rides it all day long.

Sadie had a PINKALCIOUS birthday party with 10 of her little gal pals. They made bead bracelets, sparkly crowns and got pink manicures!

Of course all the food was pink and all the little girls wore pink. It was entirely girly and so much fun.

Hill and Mere came to help me with the party, and Mike's sisters and Mom came to help me get ready for the party. Thank you for helping!!!!

Sadie was spoiled big time this year with barbies, earings, crafts, bubbles, dolls, makeup and everything else girly.

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!

4th of July

Mike's 4th of July began at 6 am to go golfing with the boys, my 4th of July began at 9 am when the babes woke up! We missed the parade this year. We ate breakfast and got ready to go boating.

Told Dave to give me a pose, hahaha, this is what I got.
We headed to Blacktail where Mike's sis had reserved a spot to spend the day. We took turns riding in the boat and playing on the shore.

Mike wasted no time doing his flips and tricks.
I love this crazy cliff jumping picture.

Hill and Will came to play for a few hours!

FUN!

Cali loved the boat and had a great sleep in the shade!

After the day of boating we were all too tired to go to the Melaluca fireworks show, so we came back to out house, ate some dinner and put on our own fireworks show in the driveway. The best part about that was not having to battle the traffic coming home from I.F at midnight! I love the 4th of July holiday, always reminds me of when Mike and I started dating ten years ago!

Rock Climbing

Last weekend was a busy one! With the 4th of July festivities going on, we also had a Cooper reunion with all of Mike's siblings! We enjoyed the beautiful weather and went rock climbing to Hiese on Saturday! The babes were amazing climbers and loved scaling the rock!

Go Mike!

Cali even wanted to be roped in. She wants to do everything the big kids do.

We had a BBQ for lunch and spent the afternoon watching everyone take turns climbing. Fun Times!
