Palm Desert Trip

The kids and I recently got to go to Palm Desert with some of my family. We spent some time with my mom and dad and hill, and her friend Brett and his parents. After 5 days they all went home and it was just my dad, the kids and I. The weather was beautiful, 90 degree heat and we had such a wonderful time. We pretty much lounged by the pool all day, went to parks and went out to eat since we didn't feel like cooking! David and Sadie both got very comfortable in the water. The street fair in Palm Springs. There was a huge Gay rally regarding Prop 8 while we were walking around. 400 people with signs walked by in a big parade chanting...

Poor Mike couldn't come with us, he had to stay and work. We were so happy to see him after 2 weeks!
Thank you so much dad for such a wonderful vacation! We had a great time and look forward to our next visit!

TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend Melanie and I saw twilight tonight, It was fabulous. We got to the theater a good hour and a half early, which is a good thing beacause we were about 10th in line, of many many girls. The theater was packed and it was "Edwardmania" Here is a picture of Mel and I getting ready to leave, poor Sadie wanted to be apart of the girls night...

In the theater...yes we are total twilight dorks! We both sat there throughout the entire movie with HUGE smiles on our faces! Of course the book was way better, just beacuse they couldn't include everything and all the details in the movie.
